Samsung groups 4C, 4E and nF as fill warnings. This page uses Samsung U.S. guidance. Match the full display and model before choosing a repair.
Identify the display
Record the selected cycle, exact model and whether any water enters. Check only accessible supply controls and visible hose routing with the washer stopped. Use your installation document to confirm the required supplies.
Choose the relevant observation
- No water enters: record visible supply conditions before suspecting a valve.
- Water enters but the warning returns: keep the timing and water-state observations for diagnosis.
- The display ends in a 2 or has other characters: retain the full string. A different code must not be shortened to 4C.
Decide what to do next
A persistent fill warning needs the applicable next check. Do not copy numerical hose limits, calibration buttons or screen-removal instructions from another model.
