Samsung includes 8C in its MEMS sensor warning group. That code category does not establish a failed sensor or a compatible replacement part.
Keep the complete display
Record 8C exactly, including any added digit, prefix or alternating message. Keep a safe photo with the complete model. Do not silently convert it to 8E, bC or another visually similar string.
The manufacturer category is a starting point for the correct model documentation. It is not a direction to replace a sensor, control board or suspension part.
Record the operating state
The warning appeared during movement or spin
Record the stage, whether the cabinet was moving excessively and whether the load or installation had just changed. Keep those as observations; they do not prove which component caused the warning.
The warning appeared before the drum moved
Record that timing and the control response. Do not describe a spin failure that you did not observe. Give the service provider the original sequence.
The warning persists after the documented owner action
Arrange model-specific service. Do not keep repeating cycles to collect more examples, open the cabinet or attempt live sensor measurements.
What a repair recommendation still needs
Ask which model-specific diagnostic finding supports the proposed repair and how the replacement part was matched. A general code table supplies neither finding. This page provides interpretation and service preparation, with exact-model testing and fitment left unresolved.

This U.S. support reference does not enumerate every applicable model. This guide covers the stated display and owner observations. Exact-model internal diagnosis, reset sequences and replacement-part compatibility have not been established.
